Program Details
Overview
Whether you study at the St Lucia, Herston or Gatton campus, you’ll have access to state-of-the-art facilities during your studies at the University of Queensland. As well as providing students with all the practical facilities they need, the UQ campuses are also stunning to see. From St Lucia’s glorious Great Court to the iconic palm-lined walkway at Gatton, there’s no shortage of idyllic locations to study and relax between classes.
Location
The main St Lucia campus occupies much of the riverside inner suburb of St Lucia, southwest of the Brisbane central business district. Other UQ campuses and facilities are located throughout South East Queensland, the largest of which are the Gatton campus, UQ’s rural campus specialize in agricultural, environmental and veterinary sciences, and the Herston Campus, home to UQ’s Medicine and Public Health schools, the UQ Centre for Clinical Research, Oral Health Centre, and the research activities of the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
Housing
Depending on which campus you choose, the housing options may vary slightly. All locations offer on-campus residence halls and off-campus apartments.

Semester in Thailand
Experience the thrill of studying and living in Bangkok, Thailand’s sprawling capital city and a global hub of culture, commerce and cuisine. Though Bangkok is a major metropolis, this semester program is the least expensive of all TEAN offerings and offers students a surprisingly affordable cost of living. Study at Mahidol University International College (MUIC), the English-speaking arm of the esteemed Mahidol University, taking a variety of classes in English along with your Thai peers. Often considered the gateway to Asia, Bangkok is a great jumping off point to explore further afield in neighboring countries such as Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar and more. Of course, the incredible Thai street food, unique culture and varied landscape may have you wanting to just stick around the Land of Smiles!

Australia Internship
International work experience is more important than ever and one of the best ways to make the leap into working abroad is by completing an internship in Australia – a longtime leader in the health, sports and technology industries. Offering a range of internship opportunities throughout the country, TEAN works tirelessly to connect students with highly relevant placements in every trade from finance, to environmental conservation, to even sports medicine. While Sydney is a popular destination as an international business hub, other cities throughout the country also provide a variety of internships suited to meet nearly every degree or interest.

University of Western Australia
Seeking near-perfect weather, a city with a small town feel and beaches at your doorstep? Look no further than the University of Western Australia in Perth. As a large and comprehensive university, a wide spectrum of course offerings are available and the architecturally-stunning campus is minutes from the city’s Central Business District. Students can take advantage of the opportunity to reside in the campus’ residential halls where new Australian friends are ready to be met.

University of Melbourne
The University of Melbourne is not only located in the world’s most liveable city, but is also consistently ranked as one of the top two universities in Australia and within the top 50 in the world. Here students are challenged in the classroom with leading programs and innovative methods while experiencing big city life near Melbourne’s Central Business District. Outside of studying, discover all that Melbourne has to offer – from its vibrant arts scene, to exciting cafe culture and everything in between.

RMIT University
RMIT University’s modern architectural design accents the lively streets of Melbourne. Often considered the world’s most liveable city, participants can’t help but feel energetic in this urban campus. With an assortment of comprehensive courses, emphasizing on technology and design, and the best parts of Melbourne at your feet, you’ll find it easy to settle into your new routine. Students participating in our RMIT University program live in high quality, fully furnished student apartments a short walk from campus.

Monash University
Students seeking a unique campus experience and the excitement of Melbourne, one of Australia’s most vibrant cities, will feel right at home at Monash University. As one of the top-ranked universities in the country, not to mention the world, the curriculum is varied and challenging while the opportunities for campus involvement are immense. Students can also take advantage of all that Melbourne – regularly named the world’s most liveable city – has to offer, from its creative community to famous cafe culture.
